My SUV will not start. It has good spark and is getting plenty of gas but still will not start. I can here the engine fire as it cranks but it will not keep going and sometimes sputters a little bit after I stop turning the key. Also, it will not completely connect to code reader. Will not scan catalytic converter, EVAP, o2. Says there are emissions related engine DTCS but will not list. Any ideas?

Hello,

How does the engine sounds when it is cranking over like it has compression? Here is a guide to help us confirm.

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
