Hi Guys,

I need your help. Yesterday 09.09.2023, i fitted a brand new in tank fuel filter, new motor, new strainer at back of fuel tank on my 2005 Pajero GDI, V6, 3.5L Petrol,6G74.

After fitting everything with my mechanic, it fails to start, it isn't low battery or fuse as they were checked. What can be the reason??

Will it start if you use starting fluid? If so, it sounds like you have a defective pump or the wiring to the pump is not correct. Did you do this repair to solve a problem? I would check for power and ground at the fuel pump when cranking this guide can help and I have included the engine and fuel pump wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and which wires to test.
