The timing is fixed, how do I remove the bolt in sprocket, so I can put the pulley on?

Hello,

In the diagrams down below I have included the removal and installation instructions from the factory for your vehicle's crankshaft pulley or harmonic balancer. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you find out. I sometimes use a breaker bar and figure out the rotation of the engine. I then rotate the breaker bar with a socket on the bolt and wedge it against something on my car that won't be damaged by a jolt. I then "bump" my engine and let the engine break the bolt free. Whatever you decide to do let us know how it turns out.

Thanks,
Alex

I already have the harmonic balancer off, I need to put it back on, but the bolt is in the sprocket from setting the timing, and I’m trying to figure out how to get it out without an impact.

Hello again,

I would refer you to the latter part of my last answer. I've done this more than once. It works.

Thanks,
Alex
