Crank sensor location

Would like to know where my crank sensor is. the code keeps coming up and it starts hard and chugs a little, but I can clear the code and start it and the light will not come on. it runs fine shut it off and start it again and the light will be on again.

Hi,

The sensor is located on the right side of the engine block. See pic 1.

Now, if I recall, this is a tight one to access (4wd). Take your time. You will need to remove the skid plates under the vehicle to access this. Also, the picture is looking up at the engine from under the vehicle and number 3 is pointing at the sensor.
