I was involved in a minor accident. I rear-ended another vehicle. My boyfriend is working on fixing the damage so far, he had to replace the radiators, the power steering reservoir and the starter. Those were all new and replaced when he went to start the engine, he said I got a crank no start. We checked the spark and that it is showing nice bright orange, and the timing belt looks okay. Do you know what we should do next? I believe it’s something to do with the fuel system, but I’m not sure how to go about it.

Hi,

Try this: See if the engine will start if you use starting fluid. I it does and then stalls, we know for sure it is a fuel related issue.

Now, there is a fuel pump relay and fuse in the under-hood fuse box. My manual isn't providing the pics I need to identify their locations. See if it is identified under the fuse box cover.

Additionally, there is an automatic shutdown relay (ASD) that shuts down fuel and ignition in the event of an accident. Since you have spark, I suspect it still is working. However, you may want to check it as well. I attached a pic below showing its approximate location.

Let me know.

Joe
