Crank no start?

2004 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER
250,000 MILES • 5.3L • V8 • 4WD • AUTOMATIC

I hear the pump prime, no fuel to the rail. Truck has sat for 3 years. I'm suspecting the hose between the pickup and pump rotted away due to ethanol. The same thing happened to my 1989 Suburban that sat. Any other ideas before I pull the sending unit/pump? Is there an access port from the top?
