So my symptoms are the dash lights come on but my gauges do not move at all when the key is in the run position. My scanner will not connect to the obd2 connector, the mileage starts flashing. Also, I have three relays that click really load when the key is in the run position they are the ASD, fuel, and the transmission relays. I have replaced the cap and rotor, the ignition coil, and the crank sensor and still the truck will not start. One day the truck ran fine and then two days later the truck would not start. The only other thing I can think of that could be wrong is the computer.

Hi Brian,

It sounds like you have a voltage or battery cable issue. Can you follow this guide to load test the battery.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-battery-load-test

If it checks out look at the battery to frame grounds to make sure they are in tact.

Lets run the codes to see what come up as well.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

Please run some tests and get back to us we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

The most common reason for the code reader not to connect is a blown ECM fuse. Can you please check all fuses to take that out of the equation?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken
