Crackling noise

After driving around then parking. i can hear something dripping and crackling noise. I checked for any fluid leaks on the driveway, but nothing appeared. what can it be?

The description sounds like the noises a very hot converter would make as it cools down. Sort of like a crackling fire. However, they normally only sound that way if the vehicle is pushed hard or there is an issue with the fuel system adding extra fuel or the exhaust is partially plugged, both would cause the converter to run excessively hot.
