I had to install a new alternator and now all of interior courtesy lights (dome and foot well) are on all the time. I have checked all door switches and they seem to be clear and working. I have set the dash controls for "off" all the time and operate with doors. Makes no difference. The dash controls are NOT set to keep the lights on. At this point the only way that I can see to turn the lights off is to remove all of the bulbs. I am currently keeping a trickle charger on the truck to keep the new battery from discharging

you can pull fuse 3 inside truck to stop lights form working, but you will need to get it scanned for codes as it may be the interior lamp control module screwed up. auto parts cannot diagnosis this with their scanner. you might check the ground on lh side of dash to see if that is loose or corroded.
