Could someone tell me where this hose goes?

By hose, I mean I'm assuming it's a hose. I have a spot where a possible vacuum hose or maybe a sensor goes and since I've never seen this particular engine I can't find out where it goes considering there are so many possible places. There's also this one place where it looks as if someone had rewired something though I'm not sure if that's where it goes, my mom suggested that maybe it would go to the steering pump and possibly connect to the place on the intake manifold.

That piece you are holding seems to go right into an electrical plug which would make it a wire and not a vacuum hose. If that is the case, then it needs to plug onto something close by,

Okay, I worded this terribly. I've been looking around and I found that it may have been a break booster vacuum line but I'm not sure honestly. Like I said, I've never seen this type of engine and I can't find even a spot for it. The book and other pictures of what it's supposed to look like shows it going down below the mass airflow sensor but I can't find any of where it could actually go.

That is definitely not a brake booster line that you are holding in your hand.

Yeah I know that. I'm mostly concerned with what goes on the upper intake manifold since its causing my check engine light to come on.

I can't tell you what may have come off if you're going to show me pictures of something completely unrelated to what you're asking..
