Without damaging the paint. I have tried rubbing alcohol and wd40 and nail polish remover. I have managed to get some of it off but not all of it.

Can you get a couple pictures of this glue and where it is so that we can give some other ideas depending on what it looks like?

However, there are a couple things that will work getting adhesive off without hurting the paint but gorilla glue is not a typical thing that gets put onto a car so it may be harder.

First, I would try a chemical called Adhesive remove made by 3M. It is made specifically for removing things from an auto painted surface. I put a picture of it below with their part number of the product.

The next thing is getting more aggressive, and it is a rubber wheel that will actually heat the glue and remove it but this requires some experience as you will burn through the paint if you leave it in one spot too long. However, this will heat it and cause it to soften and then you will be able to wipe it off. However, you usually then need to wax the spot and treat it. This will fit in the end of a drill which spins the wheel. I attached a picture of this as well.

Lastly you will need to treat it like a scratch and actually sand it out.

Here is a video that will help with some of these techniques:

Let us know if you can get a picture and we can go from there if you need more info.

The good news is it is on the hood. Worst case, we are going to have to wet sand the entire hood in order to get that off.

However, while this is a lot of work, it will make the hood like brand new and the hood has natural break points that will keep you from having to blend all the other panels. If you wet sand one portion of one panel, it will stand out more then this glue does.
