I only bought the car in January; one wishbone has snapped in half which has then broken the drive shaft and the other front one is nearly gone.

Hello,

First of all, Hyundai Amica is not sold in the United States so unfortunately, I don't have access to the repair manuals for this specific model.

As for broken wishbone, it is possible that the excessive corrosion has compromised the structural integrity of it and it broke due to normal driving or having an impact due to road condition.

Has this vehicle been in an accident? Which can also compromise components.

Here are a couple of helpful guides:

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
