Refuses to take gas if push gas feed it shuts off, but idles fine?

Car runs fine for about 10 miles then it refuses to take gas push the accelerator and it dies but idles fine cools off and runs fine again about 10 miles it idles fine won't take gas. any help would be much appreciated, help please.

Could you please specify which engine is fitted to your vehicle?

Depending on which market you are based the E90 Corolla was equipped with several different 1.6L engines.

4A-FE
4A-GE
4A-GZE
