Cooling system issue

My car is overheating, there is oil in the coolant reservoir box. The oil is also leaking really fast and the temperature gauge goes up and down very quickly. I really want to keep this car and hoping it’s not a big issue.

Hello,

If you have oil and coolant that are mixing together than this is going to be a head gasket issue. Your engine block and cylinder head have oil and coolant passages in them. The head gasket is what seals these two engine halves and it has more than likely failed when oil and coolant are mixing. I have included a few links for you to go to below.
