Are the fans supposed to turn on automatically when the car is started? Why does the car run hot when the A/C or heat isn’t on?

Good afternoon,

The fan should come on when the engine reaches a certain temperature.

The fans should also come on when the A/C is turned on as well.

I attached a wiring diagram for you. Check the two fuses I circled for power on both sides.
