I had ice in my cooling tank. How can I get it out. How do I drain the whole system?

You will need to pour hot water into the tank to defrost the ice.

There is a drain on the bottom of the radiator. Open it up. If nothing comes out, remove the lower hose. If the system is frozen it will have to be thawed out.

Make sure you use 50-50 coolant. That will protect the system to -35 degrees.

Sure, that would be a good idea. I believe this year the thermostat comes with the housing as you suggested.

Coudl be valve cover gaskets leaking. If they are, it leak at the bottom as well.

Try washing off the engine top and bottom at a high pressure car wash then watch for the leak.

I never recommend using that as it never works and clogs the entire system. It is better ti find the leak and repair it.

Did you get the dye?
