The only way I discovered to make it work temporarily when idling is unplugging and plugging the power to the fan control module. I had also changed the cooling sensor to see if that was the issue. Didn't fix either.
The second dealership said the PCM is showing 3 volts output when it should be 0? Not sure if this is true as I don't see anything online about PCM causing issues with the cooling fan. Also checked all the wiring with a multi-meter and there are no shorts.
Any advice or ideas are greatly appreciated.
