Hi:
From the front of the car, it's on the right rear of the right rear of the engine. Look at the attached picture. It's item N5 (hard to see) behind the letter M.

There is nothing special with tools or parts. The stat seals with an O-ring. The hardest thing is just reaching the bolts as they can be difficult. An extension with a 13mm swivel under the exhaust pipe usually works.

Where is the coolant temperature sensor located on the engine of the 92 Buick Century. According to the computer we are getting a code 14 and want to change the coolant temperature sensor, but want to know where it is located on the engine?

Coolant Temperature Sensor On your 1992 Buick Century 3.3L FI OHV , the Coolant Temperature Sensor is located:

Under hood, passenger side, upper engine area, below alternator, mounted in intake manifold

The CTS its located on right side of engine under the alternator item no. 3

The image uploaded for the 3.3 is correct, but the notation is wrong. The sender is mislabeled as the sensor and vice versa. Thanks
