Thanks for responding. To my mail. I sent your response to A-1 auto, this is the shop who wanna rewire my car, which I wont do. He said he did a pressure test and test the cts sensor, all is good. Now hes telling me that a need a map sensor, he said this would cause this problem. But I now refuse tp let him touch my car. How to he get from a short in the wiring for 600.00 for him to find it to a map sensor. Something is wrong with this guy. He said everything you mention was tested ok.

You must take the car to a different mechanic, this person does not know what he is doing I feel.
