Low coolant light came on and I am a bit confused because my reservoir is full. I am not exactly sure what to do. Help please.

Good morning.
There is a low coolant level switch in the plastic bottle. Its job is to tell you when the level is low.
They will fail when the switch is not reading correctly and give you a false indication. I attached a picture of the location for you to view. It is simple to replace and can be purchased at any parts store.

Awesome. Thank you. In addition to that, I did notice that the coolant in the reservoir looks rusty like. Is there any way I can take off the reservoir and dump it? Can I do that? And would I have to bleed the new coolant?

Yes, you can remove it and flush it out.
The fact that it has rust tells me the entire system has rust as well. It would be a good idea to flush the entire system to get rid of the rust.
