I changed my water pump recently but bent the metal tube that goes into the top of the water pump. I tried to bend it back into its original shape, but made it worse. so I am going to have to replace it. I disconnected all of the coolant hoses from it but it is connected to a bracket that appears to be bolted onto the upper intake manifold. I was wondering if anyone has experience changing one of these?

For your water pump it looks like all you need to do is remove the bolt and re position the heater hose.
