Coolant light keeps on coming on even if I put coolant in it

My dash board showed me to add coolant and i did I drove to work and now the coolant light came on again. what can I do ?

Are you low on coolant? if so get the cooling system pressure tested to locate any external leaks. if the coolant level is okay, the the low coolant sensor may be faulty. check these first.
