Coolant leaking from primary weep hole

Replaced water pump and thermostat. put all together. went to add coolant in over flow tank and instantly once it reached cold mark on tank it started pouring out of weep hole next to thermostat housing. why is this? Please help! Thanks

Hello,

I think this a coolant bleed valve. Ensure that the bleed valve is tightened and refill. I have included a component diagram down below in the diagrams to make sure we are talking about the same thing.
