Hi,

I've been having trouble lately with coolant leaking. Today I removed the coolant reservoir and noticed the coolant I was putting in is coming from a manufacturers hole in the bottom of the tank. Is this supposed to be plugged? I just have a coolant blow-off yesterday and was wondering if that is why it's leaking from there. It leaks as soon as I put it in the tank.

Hello,

There shouldn't be a hole in the coolant overflow tank. In the diagrams down below I have included a description of your coolant overflow tank and it's operation from the vehicle manufacturer. I have also included directions for the removal and installation of a new overflow tank, should you decide to replace it. Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
