I have a coolant leak coming from around a small hose on the bottom right side of my radiator. I had the system pressure tested and it held pressure. I also did a block leak test and it passed. I cannot see any fluid coming out while it's running or at high RPMs. My coolant temperature is running at around 220 to 225 on 85 plus day.

Hi,

Is it possible for you to take a pic of the hose in question? I'm not familiar with it and it isn't shown in any of the manuals.

As far as the leak is concerned, check along the radiator to see if there is evidence of a leak (crack) causing fluid to run down the side to where you see it.

On the other hand, if it passed a pressure test, are you sure it is coolant you are seeing?

Let me know.

Joe

The hose is connected to the drain. As for coolant I can see and smell it.

Hi,

Are you referring to the radiator drain plug? That could be leaking if the seal has failed or if it has become slightly loose. Also, how fast are you losing the coolant?

Take a look through this link and let me know if anything helps.
