Coolant leak

I recently had a coolant leak. I found a hose had busted so I replaced it. I refilled my engine coolant. I went to change oil, when I pulled the plug only clean coolant came out. I pulled oil dipstick and oil is not milky, just oil. But just coolant came out of oil pan plug. What could cause this?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Have you noticed any loss of coolant in the overflow bottle? It's possible that it is coolant from before that remains from the prior leak.Coolant will never evaporate. I would suggest performing a cooling system test.It pressurizes the system without the engine running and shows anything that leaks.If you don't have access to a tester most local auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and can rent you one.Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:
