Last week my car started overheating and white steam was coming from the passenger side under the hood. So I checked the coolant reservoir. And it was dry so I drove to get coolant filled it up. Still was over heating so I drove it home. When I pulled into the driveway and turned the car off a big cloud of white smoke cane out and coolant poured out. I looked under the hood and it had blown a hose. No biggie. So I fixed the hose but after driving it it overheated again and made a hissing noise and white smoke was coming out again. So I ended up replacing the auxiliary water pump. Still over heating. Anyone know what is up?

Good afternoon.

I would start with a pressure test on the system to locate the exact leak. Once that is determined, you can repair the leak and fill it with coolant. You can go to a parts store and rent a tester or you could ask them to do it for you or do it yourself.
