Coolant leak

2008 GMC ENVOY
124,000 MILES • 4.6L • V6 • 4WD • AUTOMATIC

Left hand side of the water pump/engine housing block level with top of frame rail, 1/8 inch steam that sprays when running, leaks when not.

What is your best diagnosis?

That could be a few things. First, if I had to take a guess, it sounds like it could be a heater hose. However, you really need to pressurize the system and then you will be able to locate the leak. Here is a link that discusses how to find and repair different types of coolant leaks:
