Coolant seems to be coming from behind plate behind fan clutch. Is there a gasket behind there? It is a 2.2. The water pump is to the right of the fan.

Possibly the thermostat but you need to have it pressure tested and follow the leak to it's source. https://www.2carpros.com/images/external/78450663.jpg.gif

The thermostat housing is dry. I will pressure test it tomorrow, my tester is at work, when the motor is running the coolant is running down from above the fan pulley.

I see now where it is probably leaking. I didn't know there was a gasket where the thermostat housing bolts to front of motor.

Can you send me the picture of where the throttle cable bracket goes. I have had it apart too long to remember.
