I got a flush and fill done a few months ago. I was recently checking fluid levels and noticed the coolant
in the reservoir was still crystal clear, but in the radiator it was dirty. when I got the flush and fill they also
changed the radiator cap. I also noticed a slight leak where the reservoir hose goes into the radiator.
could somebody please tell me why the coolant isn't flowing into the recovery tank and if the slight leak
is because the coolant has nowhere to go? also, today my brakes started making a clicking sound when
I fully press down on them. the brakes in the front are a few months old, and in the back they're about a year old. any help for either of these problems would be greatly appreciated.

If the cooling system is full, you won't see much activity in the overflow. As far as the leak, check to make sure the rubber hose is not leaking between the radiator and tank. Also, is the vehicle overheating?

As far as the brakes, do you only hear a clicking or do you feel it too?

That's a tough one. Since it only happens when the brakes are applied, check the brakes to make sure nothing is out of the ordinary such as a scored rotor, loose hardware component...

thank you for the help. I changed the radiator cap and it fixed the problem.
when I got the flush and fill done a few months ago they changed the
cap. it was faulty from the start. today I have a another problem. when I
brake the oil pressure drops low and the check gauges light comes on.
when I start moving again it picks back up and the gauge light goes off.
the car also seems to be stumbling while i'm driving.
earlier in the day I removed my negative battery cable to clear a check
engine light that I thought came up because of the radiator issue. I was
wondering if that could be the problem or if it's a problem stemming from the brake issue? thank you.

First, if the check engine light comes back on, have the computer scanned so we know what codes are stored. Next, are the engine RPM's getting really low when you see the light come on? Also, is the oil clean and full?
