I am planning to replace the water pump. I am wondering at what temperature of the coolant should my cooling fan comes on?

Hi,
The engine cooling fan should turn on at approximately 200°F. +/- 5°F. I attached a picture below indicating that temperature. Note that it indicates above 199°.
Let me know if this helps or if you have any questions about the water pump replacement. Here is a link that explains in general how it is done. If you need specifics, let me know.
I checked it yesterday. in my car the fan comes on when the temperature is at 205. is it okay?

Hi,
Yes, that is perfect as far as I'm concerned. The actual thermostat in the cooling system doesn't fully open until the coolant temperature reaches 195°F. So, 205°F makes sense to me.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Take care,
Joe
