Does anyone happen to know the OEM coolant for the car listed above ex? My reservoir is running low, and I need to fill it, but I don’t know what the OEM type is. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I attached what the manual indicates as far as coolant type. Keep in mind, when you install it, the coolant should be a 50/50 mix of coolant and water.

Now, based on the manual, it uses an ethylene glycol base coolant for an aluminum radiator. Most all coolants today are safe for aluminum. So, that shouldn't be a concern. Also, as it is listed indicates it is a traditional type of coolant.

If you are concerned in any way, you can purchase a universal type that can be used in any vehicle. Again, a universal coolant can be used in any vehicle. When you purchase it, some will come full strength and others may be pre-diluted already. So, don't add more water if it indicates it is pre-diluted. If it is full strength, mix it with water (50/50).

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

You can get an OEM brand from a dealer, but as long as the coolant you get matches the attached pic above, you will be fine. Also, I have been simply purchasing a universal coolant so I can use it on different cars as needed. It's just a thought, but it does make life easier. LOL

Take care of yourself. Let me know if this helps.
