Windshield fluid in my ‘’power control unit’?

I accidentally put about 2 ounces of windshield fluid in my ‘’power control unit’ reservoir, then siphoned off about 6 ounces from the reservoir. I have not started the engine since. Do I need to be concerned about damaging anything? What would you suggest I do?

Hi,

If you have vacuumed off the washer fluid, you should be okay, you may want to run the engine, turn it off, and drain and refill it a few times again just to make sure it's all out.

I have an oil change appt. On the 30th and have requested draining and replacing the coolant just to be sure I don’t risk any damage. I need to make a 400-mile trip before then and keep my fingers crossed it will not cause any damage.
