Does anyone know where I can get detailed instructions on how to manually put the convertible top down?

There is a manual lock knob inside the trunk. Just unlock it and you should be able to lower it.

You can try a dealer or you may be able to down load one form the internet, i just had a look there is a few available to down load just look at them and make sure it is right for your exact model.
