If my car takes the FE1 type of control arms, can I use the FE3 control arms when replacing them?

Hi,
The FE1 is steel and the FE3 is aluminum. Although the dimensions are the same and the part would work fit, the manufacturer had a reason for using steel (strength). If the additional strength wasn't needed, they would have gone with the lighter-weight aluminum.
Let me know if that helps or if there is anything I can do to help.
Take care,
Joe

Hi,
According to the manual, they should have the same specifications. With that, they should be okay to use. Does everything appear to be the same (other than the material)
If you let me know the engine size, I can get you the directions needed to replace them.
