It feels like the heater is constantly blowing out hot air, but the dash temperature isn't showing that it is overheating but the heat on the inside is constant.

Hi,

Do you only feel this when the blower motor is turned on? Do you feel it through the vents? Does the A/C work?

The idea that you feel heat can be the result of a couple of things. For example, if the blend air door actuator is faulty, it could allow heat to radiate into the vehicle. That's why I asked if the A/C is working. If it is, the blend door is working.

The blend air door is a movable flap or door that sits inside the HVAC system's ductwork. Its position determines the mix of cold and hot air that gets blended before entering the passenger compartment. The blend air door can be adjusted to allow more cold air, more hot air, or a mix of both, depending on the desired cabin temperature set by the driver or passengers. So, let me know if you still have control of changing the temp in the vehicle.

Let me know.

Joe
