First got Jeep, VIC had brake lamp failure & coolant level sensor codes. Looked on line to see how much coolant level sensor is & Jeep forum popped up about lamp failure. Looked into it & dozens of people had same problem but replacing sensor didn't fix problem. One guy had same problem & after thousands invested in failed repairs tried taking out the VIC & checking solder connections. After reflowing several connections, put it back in & no more codes. I did same thing & fixed sensor problem. Replaced brake lights even though they weren't burnt out then tried 'idiot' lights (they were not proper bulbs) & that problem was fixed. But through it all, there is a constant clicking from under glove box & it wont stop. We traced it to a relay(can feel it clicking, gets quieter if you press it) took it out & clicking stops but no turn signals. Bought new one, still clicking. Just above it is empty spot where another relay of same 1" square size would fit but prongs are different. Cant find anything not working, cant find and diagram in owners manual to identify it, & only warning light we still have is ABS on the dash. HELP! PLEASE!

Can you tell me if the system will click continuously to signify a relay like that is out or is it possibly because of the ABS light?

F e relay belongs to something and there is aproblem like a short it will click other than the turn signal flasher. Of course that clicks whenever the signal is activated. If you have an abs problem an dthe light is on hav eit scanned to see where it lies otherwise it will not work until it is fixed. Meaning your abs won't work you will still have brakes though.
