I am trying to replace my head temperature sensor, do i have to take the exhaust y-pipe off to get to the sensor?

Hello,
Yes, on this vehicle you will have to remove the Y-pipe in order to replace the cylinder head temperature sensor.
I have attached diagrams below for your reference.

thanks' Sean. I got it done and from what i could see is the only other way would be taking the head off. I don't think they could have found a worse place to put the head temperature sensor.
