How do I clear the computer?

Hello,

I assume you are talking about clearing the Direct Trouble Codes (DTC)s out of the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) AKA, "computer". The best way is to use a code reader and go to the "Clear DTC" option and do it like that. The second, and less approved, but highly effective way, is to unhook the negative battery cable from your battery for five minutes. This will completely clear your Keep Alive Memory(KAM) from the PCM. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
