Put wires wrong on coil pack, I think mess up the computer diagnostics. It says the ECU/ECM bad. I got a 2008 ECU/ECM. What to do from there or what exactly you think the problem is?

Hi,

Hooking the wires up on the coil packs backward, shouldn't cause PCM failure. What codes are you getting that indicate the PCM is bad?

Here is a guide that may help with pulling codes if you or others need it.

If you have codes that say there is an internal failure then the only real option is to replace the ECM. However, let's start with what codes they are and then we can figure out possible solutions.

Also, let me know what was happening that led to the issue.

Take care,

Joe
