Replaced my compressor. Watched your video on vacuuming down the system and recharging.
Did I lose compressor oil in the loss of refrigerant?
Do I need to replace that oil?

Hello,

Yes, you will have to add oil after the compressor's replacement.
Volvo does not specify how much to add for just the compressor replacement.
But these usually take 0.8 lbs. for vehicles without rear A/C and 1 lbs. for vehicles with rear A/C.
The total capacity is 1.5 lbs. and 2.2 lbs. respectively.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
