Hi,

As far as bypassing the compressor, I can tell you can do it. Here is the issue. Companies such as Dorman manufacture an A/C bypass pulley. Basically, you remove the compressor and bolt in their part. It takes the place of the compressor. However, I'm questioning if one is made for this vehicle.

Is there a way to bypass the pulley safely? You will need a shorter belt. I have seen people cut the old belt to fit where it will be rerouted. Then they measure the new length of the belt and a parts store can get one for them. It's just a thought.

Let me know what I can do to help.

Take care and God bless.
