Drove 20-25 miles, shut off and next day nothing worked, the battery was fully charged. New starter a month ago. I noticed rubber hoses at purge canister were chewed, replaced, fuses good look at wires. under the dash by parking brake pedal noticed a yellow wire broke from a screw together type connector mated with a pink on the other end. I repaired it, still nothing. Truck listed above has 300,000 miles.

Hello,

So, when you turn the key to the on position, do all the dash lights come on?
Are you getting any clicking noise?

This could be due to a faulty ignition switch or even the lock cylinder. It is possible that when you turn the key to start it is not making connection to provide power to the starter to start the engine.

I have attached diagrams below for your reference.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
