Coil Thread in Valve Cover

On the far left engine coil, the thread that holds it down is completely stripped away and has practically weathered away. Can the thread be fixed or would it need a completely new valve cover?

Yes. You can repair this one. That is only holding the coil in place so it does not require any significant strength so the Heli coil will hold it.
