I took all the plugs off coil pack not knowing I had to number them. Now i'm stuck and don't know where they go. Looked everywhere.

Okay, If you look at pic 1, it shows cylinder location. Pic 2 shows the coil and indicated what cylinder spark plug wire to connect at that point.

Vehicle Power-train Management Ignition System Firing Order Specifications Mechanical (including Torque)
MECHANICAL (INCLUDING TORQUE)
Firing Order. 1-2-3-4-5-6

If you have the 3.8L V6, see pics 3 and 4. Note that the coil pack should indicate cylinder number. Also note that the layout of cylinders is opposite between the two different engines.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Okay, I hooked them back up. Now when I go start it it sounds like it wants to start but once I press on the gas it makes weird noise then stops. Could it be fuel injectors or coil pack?

Hi,

At least one of the wires is still wrong. You have a cylinder firing at the wrong time and kicking the piston back down because it is firing too early.

Double check the wires. Also, let me know what size engine you have.

Hi,

That's the 3.8. Are you sure the wires are going to the correct cylinders? Are there indicators on the coils?
