Hi,

The first code, P052C indicates the bank 2 intake camshaft is showing the timing as advanced too far during cold start. The other code, P0021, indicates the same information but differs because it is not only related to a cold start.

This could be a few things. First, the camshaft sensor may be failing. Also, you could try having the sensor adaptation relearned.

Keep in mind, this could be a stretched timing chain, but that is hard to believe at this mileage.

Is this something you plan to repair yourself? The sensor may not be too bad, but the sensor adaptation will require specialized tooling.

Let me know.

Joe

Yes, I plan on fixing it myself. I have severe scan tools as well as entry if needed, if I know how to perform the adaptation I would do it.
