We've replaced the camshaft positioning sensor after getting code P034000 Camshaft position sensor A (intake) circuit (bank 1 or single sensor).

Then got a code P001000 A (intake) camshaft position actuator circuit (bank 1)

Which after research looks like a VVT solenoid. Where the heck on this vehicle is that located?

Hi,

The P0010 is related to the CVVT system. See pic 1 below. The code leads me to believe there is an electrical issue or the CVVT motor has failed.

The component is located on the end of the camshaft.

Take a look through the pics below and let me know it if helps.

Hi,

Your pic shows a CVVT oil control valve. This vehicle is has an E-CVVT motor taking the place of the hydraulic. It is actuated by the PCM. See diagnostics below for the P0010.

As far as the P0340 is concerned, it's related to a camshaft position sensor. Starting at pic 4, I provided the diagnostics.

Let me know if this helps.
