Hi,
these fault codes p1515 and p1516,related to throttle valve. check throttle valve for excessive carbon deposit, use the link below for cleaning procedure.
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/throttle-actuator-service
1.check the throttle valve connector if installed properly not loose.
2.check if the inside connector in not corroded or damaged, check its wires visually for any sign of overheated or not sticked to each other.
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-wiring
3.remove throttle valve connector fig 1.use voltmeter
4.turn ignition on, with engine off, measure the voltage of TAC motor control1 and TAC motor control 2circuit which are pin E brown in color pin F yellow in color ,check fig2,of the throttle actuator motor with DVOM connected to ground is the voltage greater than 11 volts for both circuits ?if yes, go to step 8.if no go to next step.
5.is the voltage less than 2volts?if yes go to step7,if no go to next step.
6.test TAC motor control circuit that measured greater than 2volts for a short to voltage did you find and correct the condition ?if yes go to step13,if no go to step8.
7.test TAC motor control circuit that measured less than 2 volts for a short to ground. did you find and correct the condition? if yes go to step13.if no go to step10.
8.test TAC motor control 1 and TAC motor control 2 circuit for high resistance. did you find and correct the condition? if yes go to step13,if no go to next step.
9.test for poor connection or terminal tension at the throttle body connector. did you find and correct the condition? if yes go to step 13 if no go to step 11.
10.test for a poor connection and terminal tension at the ECM fig3.did you find and correct the condition. if yes go to step13.if no go to step 12.
11.replace throttle body assembly. after replacing throttle body go to step 13.
12.turn ignition off. replace ECM, perform ECM relearn procedure(programming).after replacing go to next step.
13.using scan tool clear all the fault codes, turning ignition off for 30seconds then test drive.
