Can we double check the year of the car? P0240 is for cars 1996 and newer? If the year is correct, then this is the way you can get the codes.

I must have entered the code wrong. The code (as read from a Mitsubishi dealer) is P024 (no 0 at the end). The car is a 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T twin Turbo.

That code does not work as well so I am not sure what is going on.
