Code P2757

My car is giving me code P2757. While driving C/E came on as well as traction control light and VSC off light was blinking. My code scanner scanned P2757. Something with a solenoid for the torque converter. Just seeing if you have ever had to fix this before. Sounds expensive unfortunately, lol. I checked transmission fluid level and also for leaks and all seemed to be good.

Hi,

The code is related to the lock-up solenoid. In most cases, the solenoid itself goes bad and needs to be replaced.

The solenoid is mounted to the valve body inside the transmission. If you look below, I attached the directions for the solenoids. The SLU solenoid is the one related to the code.

Take a look through the directions and let me know if it is something you are comfortable doing. If you remove it, I can tell you have to check it.
